Studies on the Variations of Tuberculin Allergy

Abstract
Recently it has-been found that the features of :tuberculin reactions have changed due to Many non-specific- factors.
This study has been made with the purpose of observing the variations of tuberculin allergy in same subjects for certain periods of time among the positive reactors either naturally converted or by BCG vaccination.
The results are as follows;
1. More than two thirds of the naturally converted children show marked variations of tuberculin allergy regardless of observed periods. This was frequently observed among weak reators.
2. The tendency to reversal of tuberculin allergy in the pseudo-positive and positive group was more frequent in the group of younger children, but the positive conversion in the pseudo-positive group was more frequent in the older children.
3. Among the reversals of the . BCG vaccination, the reconversion rate was higher in the group which had a shorter period of time interval after BCG vaccination.
